Please call 970-573-5818 if you want to volunteer to deliver groceries in your area. Background checks are completed on all volunteers, but they will not need to handle payment.
Volunteers will stay in their cars except to put groceries by clients’ doors, and clients wait inside their homes. Volunteers should plan for deliveries to take 2-3 hours, though times may vary.
COVID protocols are in place to protect both volunteers and clients.
If you are 60 or older, live in Weld County, and need grocery or prescription delivery, you qualify. There are no income restrictions for eligibility.
Please call 970-702-6413, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday to discuss options and place your order with a 60+ Ride staff member. Please leave a message if no one is available.
Credit and debit cards are strongly preferred. We are able to use clients’ EBT cards for online orders from WalMart.
If you need basic items and cannot pay now, please talk with our staff when you call.
We have funding for those with extreme needs, and the Weld Food Bank Emergency box is available for those who qualify.
