On Thursday, September 26, 2013 Senior Resource Services was presented the Colorado Association of Transit Agencies (CASTA) Award for having the small transit system of the year in Colorado. Senior Resource Services was chosen for this award because of the free transportation services that we provide to seniors. These services are carried out by a team of compassionate volunteers who not only give their time, they use their own vehicles to provide support to seniors. Transportation services like this, help older and vulnerable seniors access needed services, including medical appointments, grocery shopping, hair appointments and special events. This award was presented to our Board of Directors on October 1, 2013 at our quarterly board meeting.
