Volunteer assisting a senior

Volunteer with 60+ride

A Unique Volunteer Opportunity

When you provide transportation to our senior clients, you get to see firsthand how your support makes a difference because YOU are the service provider!

Such an Easy Way to Make a Difference!

60+ride uses an online program called, “Ride Scheduler” which allows our registered volunteers to sign up for rides according to their own schedules. Some volunteers offer multiple rides every week, while others might do so twice a month. The bottom line is that the rides you provide help our seniors maintain their quality of life, and independence!

Volunteer Training and Support

Savannah Devore, our Volunteer Coordinator, offers our volunteers the training and support they need. She will help you sign up as a volunteer driver, and take care of the necessary paperwork. Once you are registered, she will train you to use our Ride Scheduler program. Volunteers are also invited to training meetings every quarter, where they may get to know others involved in our project.

The Benefits of Helping are Priceless

Supporting aging adults so that they may remain independent is perhaps one of the most rewarding volunteer activities you may ever engage in. Most of our volunteers agree that the joy of building relationships with the senior clients they serve is the greatest reward.
